I am a Mechanical Engineer and MBA with more than 15 years of experience with international new-build projects of different technologies (coal, gas, water, offshore wind). In my career, I mainly had responsibilities in the quality area, but also dealt with several technical and project management disciplines and was responsible for teams of quality experts.
For several large-scale projects I provided support during all project phases from tendering over manufacturing, assembly and commissioning until hand-over to the final customer. Already in two different companies I succesfully implemented quality departments including contracting of personnel and development of customized processes and systems.
In addition to my thorough knowledge about project and quality management, I have a very good understanding about typical quality and steel works related disciplines such as welding, coating and NDT, including the respective international standards, as well as practical execution on site. I gained this understanding on the one hand by work experience, but also by a large number of trainings and educations.
As my projects as well as the respective suppliers were located in several countries worldwide, I am used to work abroad for longer periods in offices, on construction sites and also offshore.
